Fringe Elements ~ 24 November 2013

Just a quick post today, folks. It is our Thanksgiving holiday week here in America, and it’s extra busy with festivity and food preparation. It’s hectic and busy in a good way, and not just because of the holidays. The transits at hand mean business. That means, book readings now... and before rates rise.

Today, there’s a particularly edgy aspect in play. Ceres in Libra opposes Uranus in Aries, both of which are in reasonable proximity of a square to Pluto in Capricorn. The essence of change, innovation, revolution (which can be the long, orderly movement of the prescribed path of a planet around the Sun), challenge to injustice and rebellion is the air. While the cranky, feisty essence of resistance prevails, remember it’s all about the intention behind the resistance and the manner of delivery as vehicles of change do their work.

Politically protests often polarize the opposition into more deeply entrenched positions. In order for political change to be consequential, the asserting resistance must create a context of positive economic impact, personal consequence to the politicians (as in: you ain’t getting elected again) and a change so constructive and evolutionary, it cannot be denied by any faction.

This pattern is further enhanced by the conjunction of Ceres to pulsar PSR 1257+12. This pulsar was the first object other than our Sun to be recognized for holding planets in its grasp. This realization symbolically led to relief from the solar system solipsism that claimed “we are it and that’s it.” Sadly, many continue to struggle with the concept of a grander universality.

But that’s where Ceres-Uranus-Pluto comes in to play. This t-square combination summons everyone to access their personal fringe. Find where you fit. Find where you do not fit. Find the perfect fit for your soul in your body, and your presence in life.

It’s all about locating your personal fringe. Yes, indeed, it’s just fine not to fit the collective Bell Curve as long as you are front and center in the Bell Curve of your being. If that makes you part of the fringe, fine. Be golden and remember, if it were not for the fringe, the flag would unravel... or so a well-known metaphysician used to contend.

Here are the other matters at hand. Advocate (Ceres) for yourself as if there is no tomorrow (Pluto). If done in a cool, collected, “for the good of all” (Uranus) manner, benefits and positive results are likely. How likely? Who can say? Uranus is involved. All options are on the table. All bets are off.

Be strong. Be fair and cooperative (Ceres is in Libra) and know where you need to end up in this whole transaction. Use inner strength. Speak clearly of your praise worthy attributes, heavy on your talent, and emphasizing your most noble motivations.

Then, sit back and expect the unexpected. As noted last week, the perihelion of Uranus is in Virgo. If you can define what unexpected is or might be, it surely will not be that. Leave unexpected to the realm of no expectations, but allow for complete receptivity to what fits when it arrives.

How should one react when the unexpected arrives? Be confident. Smile. Step forward. Embrace the opportunity, and walk with a stride that refers back to the spark in your being that always believed and knew that you would lock onto a means to apply your greatest potential. And in that potential the best of your personal fringe elements ride the four winds as your hold your banner high.

To all in the United States, Happy Thanksgiving. To all outside our borders, may this time be one of contemplation for all the good accomplished this year and so far in life. May your agenda be renewed that the time that lies ahead will be enriched with your unique individualism and for the good of everyone and everything you engage.

More soon.
